W2: "My Invention to Save the Earth"

THE NEW INVENTION THAT MIGHT SAVE THE WORLD "Regenazone (C₈H₁₀O₆N₂Gz)"

Ocean pollution from oil disposal and climate change due to ozone layer depletion are two of the most pressing environmental challenges today. These issues may now have a solution through the groundbreaking invention of Prof. Goo Zhe Hao, a revolutionary eco-friendly compound "Regenazone". This compound utilizes the newly discovered element "Goozene (Gz)," is designed to simultaneously restore marine health and repair the atmosphere at the same time.

How it works?

1. Oil Breakdown:
The compound Regenazone (C₈H₁₀O₆N₂Gz) chemically binds with hydrocarbon chains found in oil and grease. Upon contact, it initiates an oxidation reaction, breaking the hydrocarbons into simpler, non-toxic molecules such as carbon dioxide and purified water. This neutralizes oil pollutants without leaving harmful residues in marine environments.

2. Atmospheric Conversion:
During the breakdown process, Regenazone undergoes a secondary reaction, forming a byproduct known as Gz₂O₄, also referred to as Gozone. Gozone is a volatile yet stable compound that naturally rises into the stratosphere due to its low molecular density and thermoreactive properties.

3. Ozone Regeneration:
Once in the upper atmosphere, Gozone decomposes under ultraviolet solar radiation, releasing tetra-ozone (O₄) molecules. These O₄ molecules react with atmospheric oxygen (O₂), forming new ozone (O₃) that helps repair and reinforce the ozone layer, reducing harmful UV penetration and mitigating climate change effects.

Process of how Regenazone works in breakdown oil and grease

According to researchers from Harvard University, this invention is predicted to significantly mitigate key environmental challenges within seven years of global implementation. Specifically, it is expected to reduce oil pollution in oceans by 78%, contribute to ozone layer regeneration by 62%, and cut down toxic carbon-based industrial emissions by 54%. These projected outcomes demonstrate the compound’s potential to drive large-scale environmental restoration without harming marine biodiversity or requiring drastic infrastructure changes.

On 24 June 2025, the invention of Regenazone has already received hypothetical approvals and endorsements from:

  • WWF (World Wildlife Fund)

  • NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration)

  • ECSA (European Citizen Science Association)

Their support validates the liquid’s eco-safety, scalability, and measurable impact on climate recovery.

Application of Regenazone

Professor Goo explains that Regenazone can be utilized in several versatile ways:

  • Mixed into detergents and soap for home or industrial use.

  • Used by factories to process and neutralize oily wastewater.

  • Deployed in marine cleanup efforts after oil spills using drone-sprayers.

Because of its low production cost, it’s accessible even in developing nations. Governments and green-tech companies can integrate it into sanitation systems with minimal infrastructure changes.

Clean the Earth. Heal the Sky. One Drop at a Time. Join the movement. Use Regenazone to change the world." - Prof. Goo Zhe Hao

Reflection

Innovation is key to fighting climate change. It helps us find smarter, faster, safer, and more accessible solutions to environmental problems. Even "Regenazone"is just a fictional idea, it shows how new science and tech can solve big issues like pollution and ozone depletion all at once. Without creative and science-driven solutions like this, it would be much harder to achieve real and lasting progress in protecting our planet.
